I named this site The Boat Ramp do to the fact that I recall the first time I backed my first boat down that first boat ramp. I was both nervice and proud of my first boat. Nervice because I was worried about making a fool of myself in my first a temp to get the boat in the water and look cool while doing so. I had been informed their was a boat ramp eduquette. My dream boat at the time was a small 14' aluminum deep V. My buddy and I spent countless hours tiring to set that boat up with the best fishing equipment we could build or afford. New fishing seats, fish finder, outboard motor, trolling motor, rod holders, fishing deck, storage area, and ice chest were just a few of the improvements we made. I was into electronics at the time so i wired in all sorts of gadgets to make it cool.
That little boat lasted several years and then I moved on. But that boat gave me many hours of fishing pleasure and very little trouble. To this day i still recall most of fishing trips we took that boat on and in its own way it's still my dream boat.
